Nothing too hard

Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.

Jeremiah 32:17

In our everyday life, we tend to walk closer to God, go to church, worship Him, pray and seek Him, and lead a God fearing life, but in spite of that we face challenges and struggles in our lives.
The opposition of the forces of darkness seems to overwhelm the light, even though we know that the darkness cannot overcome the light (John 1:5). Even though we know that Christ has overcome the darkness of the world (John 16:33), it doesn't always seem that way. Sometimes, it seems like the darkness has overcome the light. Sometimes, it seems like the darkness is more powerful than the light.
It's at times like these that the prayer of Jeremiah in our verse for today is needed, for the prayer reminds us of something important about God. Although the context of his prayer was a specific situation in the history of Judah, it proclaims a general principle about God that applies in every situation and at all times. There is nothing too hard for God. There is nothing that God can't handle.
Today, put your trust in Him for whom nothing is too hard.
Even when situations seem to win against you, God is still in control over your life. He never leaves you nor forsakes you. Take refuge in Him, for He is your strong tower. He will make all your paths straight and make you ride on high. He always turns mourning into dancing. May the God who made the heavens and the earth do great things among you.
