Commit everything
Commit everything you do to the LORD, Trust Him, and He will help you.
Psalms 37:5
Psalms 37 is a psalm of committing and waiting on the LORD. It promises that when you commit everything, not something, but everything you do in your daily life to the LORD, and depend on Him for everything, He will help you and make your righteousness sine like the sun, so everybody can see the blessings of the LORD upon you.
What does commit means here? The Hebrew word for commit means to roll away, that is to transfer to, give to.
God's hand works mighty things. He made the heavens and the earth. His hand makes a way where there is no way. Hence, instead of you doings things on your own strength, and trying to get success, commit it into God's hands.
When you wake up in the morning, make it a habit to commit all you do for that day to the LORD, may it be the things you do in your job, or raising children, or maybe investment, or maybe that struggle you are trying to overcome, whatever it may be, tell your LORD Jesus, that you are giving all that you are going to do into His hands and once you do Trust in Him and wait for Him to act.
Psalms 37 says when you commit everything to the LORD, and wait, then the LORD will make your righteous act, that is, committing to Him and waiting, reap great results, which shines like a sun so everybody can see that blessing and be marveled.
Commit everything to the LORD and you will surely not regret.
