Be the Clay

And yet, O LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand.

Isaiah 64:8

Pottery, one of the oldest and most widespread of the decorative arts, consisting of objects made of clay and hardened with heat. The objects made are used as vessels for holding liquids or plates or bowls from which food can be served.
Clay in its original form is of no use. It neither can hold water nor has any shape.
It is the potter who makes the clay useful, bring a form to the clay and makes it recognizable, Identifiable and give a place for it in the society.
Bible compares us to the clay. Just like clay we too before we saved have no form, no identity, no purpose, we live a life which has no meaning.
But when we are saved, the potter our Lord Jesus Christ, along with the Holy Spirit starts to work in our lives.
In order for us to have an identity or recognition, we should be like the clay, yielding to the work of the potter. The clay does not resist the potter, it yields to the potter 100%, so the potter can shape the clay to the form he intends to bring.
Today God has great plans to prosper you and do good to you. He has plans to lift you up, honor you, give you an identity, purpose, recognition in the family, job, society, but in order for that to happen, you should yield yourself 100% to Him. He works in ways you may not understand, but you should trust in Him with all your heart and alllow Him to shape you into a form which will make you a mighty vessel.
Today be like that clay so that you can become a grand vessel that can be adorned by everybody.
