Walking with the Wise
He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed.
Proverbs 13:20
We all would like to get a wise counsel, be it investment like in stocks, mutual funds, seeking direction, avoiding dangers and delays. Wise counsel helps us achieve our God given destiny.
Many times we get lost, or at loss and in cross roads because of lack of good wise counsel.
Bible says that we need to be with wise men or wise women, who can instruct us, teach us, share with us their valuable experience, so we can learn from them and walk wisely.
But where to look for wise men or women, whom we can trust.
The good news is you have someone wise within you already who is eagerly wanting to guide you, teach you, instruct you and show you the best strategies, help you make the best decision, understand and apply God's will for your life. Who is this? It is the Holy Spirit.
Yes, the moment you are saved, accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, you are given the Holy Spirit to live inside of you. 1 John 4;13 says that the Holy Spirit is given and lives in us.
The same Holy Spirit, who helped king Solomon to be the wisest, lives inside of you and can make you the wisest as well.
Realize this truth every day. You don't need to search for a wise man to learn to be wise, you have the Holy Spirit who is the wisest of all, and He walks with you every day.
So go ask Him about everything, and He will surely show you, help you, guide you, teach you, instruct you and train you to be the wisest.
