Who are we?

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before-hand that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10

Who are we as Christians? This is an important question we all should ask and always remember the answer. In the passage we read today, Apostle Paul mentions a great truth. He says that we are God's workmanship, for God created us for good works which He already prepared for us and expects us to walk in it.
Yes, before laying the foundation of the earth, God thought about us and has plans for us to prosper us, plans for good works. He not only has planned our life, but also works in us to be saved and redeemed from sin through Lord Jesus Christ. Now that we are saved and become His children, He wants us to walk and do the good works that He has prepared for us already.
He has already prepared the profession for us in which we will work, He has prepared some to be a teacher, businessman, medical professional, architect, researcher, some He has prepared to be apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastor and teacher.
That is why it is important to know the purpose for our life here on earth and ask the Lord about it, and He will surely reveal and help us walk in it. He will provide all the resources, wisdom, connections, favor to fulfill the purpose that He has for us.
Many times we struggle in life and not able to succeed and strife and are not satisfied is because we walk not in the plans of God.
Today, ask your heavenly Father about the good works He has prepared for you. When you ask in Jesus Name, He will surely help you walk in His plan, and you will succeed and blossom in what you do and be satisfied and enjoy every bit of the blessing. You will not toil and strife, but rather enjoy the fruit of it.
Remember you are His workmanship, created in Christ for good works, so walk in doing those good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
