Teaching Father
When you walk, your steps will not be hindered, And when you run, you will not stumble.
Proverbs 4:12
Both proverbs and psalms talk about our heavenly Father, who is a teaching Father. In Psalms 32:8, we read the heavenly Father saying, I will instruct you
and teach you in the way you should go, I will guide you with my eyes. In Isaiah 48:17 the LORD says "I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go."
Yes, our heavenly Father is a teaching Father, who teaches us how to profit and guides us in our ways.
Many times in our lives we need someone to guide us, direct us, tell us what is right and wrong, helps us make the right decision.
That is why it is important that we pray and ask our heavenly Father for any and every decision we make for Him to guide us, lead us and also teach us.
He is gentle and kind and willing to teach us His ways which adds no sorrow to it.
In the bible we see the Israelites go to the LORD and enquire of Him to make the right decision, be it going to battle or domestic activities. Whenever they made their own decision without asking the LORD they failed and suffered loss.
Today you have a heavenly Father who wants to teach you many things, show you things you don't know and help you succeed.
So go to Him and ask Him to teach you every day of your life so when you walk your steps will not be hindered and when you run you will not stumble.
