Not Forgotten

I drew a picture of you on my hand. You are always before my eyes.

Isaiah 49:16

When we go through the trials, troubles, and tribulation of life, there is always the temptation to think that God has forgotten us. In Isaiah 49:14, the people of Zion say the same "The Lord has left us; the Lord has forgotten us." During such times, we tend to think that God is far away from us, that He does not really care for us, and that He has forgotten all about us.
Earlier in the chapter, God confirms He never forgets us by saying, "Can a woman forget her baby? Can she forget the child that came from her body? Even if she can forget her children, I cannot forget you" (Isaiah 49:15)."
You are not forgotten by God, ever. God's memory of us, in other words, is even greater than a mother's memory of her children. God's compassion, on us, is greater than mother's compassion.
You are not alone. God hand is always with you.
This is the truth we learn from Isaiah chapter 49 today.
Knowing that God is a good God, and He has drawn you in the palm of His hand and that you are always before His eyes, be rest assured that all will go well for you. All things work for good for you because God watches over you always.
Have this peace today and believe in Lord Jesus Christ, and surely you will see the deliverance you are expecting.
