Shield of Favor

Favor gives victory, accomplishes great things, and makes it easier to get the job done. When we go for a job interview, or go to a doctor for treatment, or we are in a long line in the airport and running late to catch the flight, in all these circumstances and much more favor helps us and takes us easily to our destination without a sweat. Favor is an act of kindness beyond what is due or usual.
So far we have seen about getting favor from men. Let's look at today's scripture, in which it says that we also receive favor from God. In fact, it is the favor from God that drives the favor from men towards us.
The psalmist says that the favor from God is like a shield that surrounds us always.
Even before you go to the Job interview, even before you see a doctor for treatment, even before you go on a trip, the favor of God goes well before you and makes arrangements for you and makes every crooked path straight.
The favor of God is always a shield for the righteous. Today if you believe Lord Jesus Christ with all your heart, believe that He is God, and He came to die for your sins and rose again and love Him with all your heart then you are righteous. For such righteous, the favor of God is a shield.
Rejoice, you righteous, for God's favor is taken care of all your situations and prepares the way for you.
