Offer Him a drink

When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?”

John 4:7

Jesus meets a Samaritan the first time in His ministry, and not just any Samaritan, but a woman. In those days, it is not good for a Jew to be talking to a Samaritan woman. It is dangerous to life itself.
But Jesus was ready to take this risk, because of that Women, because of that one soul. Jesus is willing to do anything, even for the one person.
He came in searching for the one person, to bring salvation to her and through her to all the Samaritans.
The first question Jesus asked the Samaritan woman was, give me a drink?
Jesus was asking her to meet His need, which is to quench His thirst.
Even today our Lord Jesus comes to you personally, asking for a drink, asking to quench His thirst for souls, asking to be a witness, asking to give your Faith to him, asking to cast your burdens to Him.
So that He can bring salvation, healing, deliverance, peace to you.
Have you offered Him a drink yet? Have you been a witness to the lost and dying ? Have you trusted in Him ? Have you cast your burdens to Him?
Jesus is ready to use you as a testimony, ready to heal you, ready to deliver you, but you have to offer Him a drink first, so that He does great things among you.
