Good Things
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him.
Mathew 7:11
We all want good things, we desire good things in our life, we love to be blessed. There is nothing wrong in it. In fact, our heavenly Father wants to bless you even more than you are. He has good things in store for you and wants to give it to you. Jeremiah 32:41 says that God rejoices over us to do good to us. He is not a God who punish us, but He is a God who does good to us. In fact, in Jeremiah 32:40 God says that He will not turn away from doing good.
Today, the God whom you worship, is a good God. Your Father in heaven always thinks good for you and wants good for you.
So then, how to receive this good things from our Father in heaven. It is by asking. In Mathew 7:7, our Lord Jesus instructed us to ask and keep on asking.
When you ask and believe, you will receive all the good things, God has for you.
When you ask, realize you are asking your Father in heaven. You are asking just like how your children will ask you, and you know and long to give good things to your children. Just like that, your heavenly Father will give you good things when you ask. What this belief that your heavenly Father is a good God and want to give good things to you, approach Him and ask Him. He will surely bless you with good things.
