How to receive God's Promises?

It is believed that in the bible there are, 7147 promises from God to man, that is a lot of promise. Even if one promise is fulfilled in a day in our lives, it will take more than 20 years for all God's promises to be fulfilled, which is more than half the time of our adulthood. It means most of our adulthood we can live a blessed life, because God has provided us His promises. So, how to receive all these promises for our lives. Jesus gives an answer to this in the gospel of Mathew 5:5. He said blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Jesus is saying in the verse that those who are meek will inherit the earth, which means inherit His promises that He  has given us on this earth. So who are the meek, as per the Greek definition meek are the ones who are humble gentle kind, meek are the ones who respect others and think good to others, meek are the ones who do not boast and live for themselves but for others, meek will not harm others in their anger, meek are the ones who encourage others and pray for others. Jesus says such people will surely able to activate the promise that God has given and live a blessed life. Jesus through the cross has already given the promises, it is up to us to activate these promises in our lives, so that these promises are fulfilled in our own lifetime. All God's promises are yes and amen. So today let  apply this important truth that Jesus taught and learn to live meek and all of God's promises will be fulfilled in your lifetime.
