Discipline in Love
My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you. For the Lord corrects those he loves,
just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.
Proverbs 3:11-12
Discipline is key to success, this is a famous quote in the corporate world. All the famous leaders and executives are very good at it and that's one of the main reason they say brought success.
Now, long before the corporate world even knew about this, the Word of God has already taught us that discipline is key.
In order for God to work in your lives, He wants to first bring our life to order, our house to order, our family to order.
Many times God through the hardship teaches us discipline. He draws our attention to teach us the truth and helps us to live like He did.
He disciplines us not because He hates us, but because He loves us, He delights in us. He wants to bless our lives, but sometimes He sees some hurdles within us that prevents Him in blessing us.
In order to remove the hurdle, He disciplines us via hardships and challenges, so we tune our ears to hearing Him and reading His word and understand and then remove that hurdles inside us.
The moment this process is complete, we notice the free flow of God's blessings in our live.
After all He is our Father in heaven and He cares for us. Bible says if you who are evil knows how to give good things to your children, how much more the heavenly Father who is so good give good things to His children.
Yes, our Heavenly Father longs to bless you more than you do, but do not be upset today on Him when He corrects, but be quick to accept and enjoy His love and blessings.
