Name of the Lord

I come in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel.

1 Samuel 17:45

The nation of Israel faced a mighty enemy, and it brought terror in the face of Israelites. For 40 days and nights, the Philistine fighter giant named Goliath caused fear among the Israelites. They were completely clueless what to do. No one dared to face the giant Goliath, including king Saul and the mighty warriors in his army.
But David came forward, a simple Shepherd boy from the hill country of Judah, had the courage and boldness to face the mighty giant.
David didn't have a mighty weapon in his hands to fight against Goliath. Infact Goliath himself was surprised and asked David "Am I a dog that you come to me with sticks".
David's reply was very powerful. He said to Goliath, you come to me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty.
Yes, David realized that he had the most powerful weapon called "Name of the Lord", and that's all he needed to defeat the giant in what is seen as a very easy fight, which didn't even last for an hour or half an hour, it probably was just few seconds.
Yes, this is what happens when you go in the "Name of the Lord". Though the enemy might seem like a giant, though the situation, circumstances before you might seem daunting, and it may be haunting you for days, and night and tormenting you, don't be afraid or discouraged, The Lord is on your side, take the mighty weapon which is given in your hand "Name of the Lord", proclaim the name of Jesus and go in His name, say to your circumstances and situations, I come in the Name of the Lord and rebuke you. Don't look at the size of the problem but look at the power in the Name of the Lord. The Bible says in Philippians 2:10 "at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth", yes at the name of Jesus all the circumstances and situations against you will have to bow when you go in the name of Jesus. Go defeat your enemy in the "NAME OF THE LORD".
