Repayment

May the Lord repay you for what you have done, may you be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel.

Ruth 2:12

Throughout the book of Torah (The first five books of the bible), God gave many instructions, and most of which commanded the Israelites to do good and hate evil. This is because the God whom we worship is a good God, His nature is good, and He does not think of harm to others. Those Israelites who did good in their lives were rewarded richly by the Lord, because His commandments says so. Not only the Israelites but even others who in their heart meant good and in their action did good were also rewarded richly by the Lord. One such person was Ruth. Even after she became a widow, she diligently followed her mother-in-law and the God her mother-in-law worshiped, and God repaid her multifold.
In fact, God bless her so much that our Lord Jesus was born in the bloodline of Ruth.
This is a great lesson we learn from the bible. When we do go in the land we live, it goes before our Father in heaven as a testimony.
In due time He repays for our good, not only us but our generations that is to come. There is always repayment for good from the Lord.
That is why Jesus taught us in Mathew 5:16, Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
When you do good, you glorify your father in heaven, and hence The Lord repays you.
Today receive the reward from the Lord, receive the repayment from Him for all the good works you have done. Don't get tired from doing good, so that you will be richly rewarded.
