Lifter of Head

But you oh Lord are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.

 Psalms 3:3

There isn't a struggle the psalmist David went through, there isn't a shame the psalmist David went through, he faced more troubled situation than we can imagine. One day he had the mighty victory over Goliath and the other day he was running for his life from king Saul.
All these times of uncertainty and trouble, David always called out to the Lord, cried out to the Lord. He poured his heart to the Lord, and the Lord heard his cry every time and came to his rescue.
The lord didn't just rescue king David, He lifted his head above all and made him the greatest king of Israel ever to live.
Our God always wants good for us and lift us up in the very place we are put to shame. God lifted king David in the house of king Saul itself. All of king Saul's household served king David.
Today are you feeling let down and being put to shame or running from one place to another. There is a God who is your Father in heaven. He sees all your struggles.
Call upon the Lord, and He will surely listen and deliver you from all troubles and lift your head in the very place you were put down. Now is the time, call to Him and He will answer you.
Like the psalmist said in the last verse,
The lord comes to deliver, and His blessings are upon His people.
