As Life Unfolds
The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our sons forever, that we may observe all the words of this law.
Deuteronomy 29:29
The Bible tells us that God does not reveal everything about situations we face. Yes, He keeps some things “secret.” Sometimes He reveals things a little bit at a time.
Especially, God reveals His plans and solutions to our situations and circumstances as and when it unfolds, day by day, moment by moment.
But many times we tend to worry, fear, and are concerned, before even we face the situation and circumstance. Many times we want solutions to problems at the beginning itself. Bible reminds us that God is sovereign and that events unfold according to His plan. He can give us understanding at just the right time. God expects us to Trust in Him in all the ways. The God whom we serve is a faithful God who is full of mercy and grace and will supply all your needs according to His riches and time.
At the end of a year, as we look back and review what we have done – mistakes made, regrets, events that unfolded, things we wish we had known, let us also learn to look forward knowing that our Lord Jesus is going to be with us every day in this new year.
As you are going to start a new year, remember that God is always with you and will never leave you nor forsake. Base your life on God’s revealed will, His Word. Remember that some things will be hidden from you. Your task is to stay faithful and Trust that He will guide you in all your ways. Let Him guide you as events unfold.
