Amazing Things
And the Lord did an amazing thing while Manoah and his wife watched.
Judges 13:19
God sent His angel to tell Manoah and his wife that they would have a special son, Samson. When the angel appeared a second time, they wanted to make an offering to him. But the angel said that, instead, they needed to make an offering to the Lord.
After making that offering, He allowed them to see something awe-inspiring as the angel ascended from the flame into Heaven. Overwhelmed, they fell on their faces. It was “an amazing thing.”
They received this revelation after making an offering. After they gave sacrificially to God, He rewarded them with spiritual riches and a glimpse of the spiritual realm. They saw things that were hard for natural minds to conceive.
Today God wants to do amazing things in your life, like He did for Manoah and his wife, but waiting for you to make an offering. How is your offering to the LORD today? How is your giving? Giving is not only money, but time, talent and life. When you spend more time for the LORD reading His Word and Praying and serving in the local church, when you use your talents to serve the LORD such as singing, playing instruments or even praying for others, encouraging others, when you offer your life as living sacrifice, which is going beyond your ability to help others, the poor and not being self-centered and on top of it when you give financially, you are offering sacrifice to the LORD most High GOD. When you make all these offerings, GOD will do and show amazing things in your life which will make you astonished.
