Your Friend
A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.
Proverbs 17:17
A recent study discovered that there has been a significant decrease in the number of people we consider to be friends. In fact, Americans have fewer close friends than just a few years earlier. And one in four confessed that they had “no close friends at all.” Why this decline?
One conclusion was that people may be living “more isolated lives than in the past.” We are spending more time at work and less time socializing. In addition, more people are turning to entertainment tools such as television and the Internet and are not interfacing as often directly with others.
Bible says the God is Friend to those who faithfully seek Him and follow His commands. When we make time for Him and sit at His feet He reveals His secrets to us, He walks with us and becomes our Friend and will do anything for us.
Knowing this the enemy wanted to distract you from becoming the Friend of God, instead He deceives you to become the friends to work, friends to TV, friends to other desire. Today Who is your Friend, who would you call when you are in trouble to share your concerns and ask for help, who is your helpline, who will you talk to share your happiness ? Lord Jesus Christ is waiting for you to become His friend and walk with you every day. Become His friend, you are not alone.
