Dense Clouds
Behold, I will come to you in a thick cloud, so that the people may hear when I speak with you and may also believe in you forever.
Exodus 19:9
It was a key moment in the history of the Israelites. God had been speaking primarily with Moses. But, now God wanted to speak to the entire Israel at the foot of the mountain. For the first time they heard God’s voice.
But sadly, Israelites did not wanted to hear His voice any more. They went to Moses and said you hear His voice and tell us what He spoke.
God often works in this way, speaking to us in these dense clouds, that is when we are confused and when there is no clarity and all looks gloom and doom. Bible says that He is in the wind, in the fire, in the cloud. He is in the thickest of our circumstances and speaks from within it.
The question is do we hear Him speak and want to hear Him speak or are we afraid of the dense clouds and avoid anything about it. In the bible God often has reminded us, fear not for I am with you, do not be afraid for I am you God I will be with you and help you and strength you.
Learn to hear from God in all circumstances, He always has a way out for you from any situation and circumstance. Get acquainted to hearing His still small voice and follow His ways and He will surely make your path straight.
