Abounding in Riches
There is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him.
Romans 10:12
Apostle Paul teaches us in the Book of Romans that God abounds in riches! He has no limits. He can do much more than we could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). What are the riches that God is abundant with.
Our God abounds in spiritual riches: salvation and peace, eternal life and forgiveness. God supplies us with all the fruit and gifts of the Spirit, abundant joy and peace, and overwhelming love and kindness (Galatians 5:22-23).
No force can stand against Him, for He never tires and can unleash unlimited power. No weapon or army can defeat Him. He has authority over all demonic forces. But there is more! He has an abundance of wisdom and knowledge and resources to meet every need: financial, emotional, mental, and practical.
Our God is not stingy but gladly gives these riches “to all who call upon Him.” He gives to both Jews and Gentiles, people of every nation. We all can access His riches by calling on Him, reaching out in faith, and trusting Him. What more could we ask?
The Bible promises that all of God’s riches are available to you. And He wants you to have them. Don’t doubt Him but call on Him in faith. Seek Him, be faithful with what God has given you, and sow seeds with your time, talents, and treasures. And don’t limit Him! He can do above and beyond anything you can expect or think.
