Overthrowing Stronghold
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,
2 Corinthians 10:4
As children of God every day we face opposition and hurdles from the power and principalities. The kingdom of darkness does not like God’s people when they flourish and live a happy life. Their very motive is to cause problems big or small, so as Christians we are unable to taste God’s goodness. But today the truth is, as God’s children and being washed by the blood of Jesus Christ, we have the power over the enemy the devil and His kingdom. God has armed believers with powerful weapons. These weapons that God has given us are no ordinary, but they are extraordinary and all power to break the stronghold of the enemy, powerful to break all the strategies and plans of the devil against us and our families and our jobs.
Many times because of our carnal nature, because of our belief in what we see rather than belief in the unseen, we can tend to approach our problems from a material or physical perspective. Bible warns that we cannot win these battles in the flesh. The key to victory is fighting in the spirit, employing the “mighty” weapons God has given us. Remember. God has made these weapons available to you to help you to bring down the strongholds of the enemy! But you must use these spiritual weapons. You must have faith, and not doubt. You must believe in the truth and walk upright claim the righteousness of Christ always and declare the word of God over every situation and circumstances.
The powers of darkness cannot stand the spiritual weapons that God has given us. The key is are we using those powerful weapons to overcome our failure, doubt, defeat, fear, depression or are we being succumbed to the lie of the enemy. You can overthrow every stronghold and be victorious and filled with God’s peace and joy, you can have control over every situation and circumstance, when you learn to use the God given weapons. If you haven’t used these weapons, start today, it is not too late. It is better late than never. Live a blessed life and glorify Christ in all ways.
