Called from Nothing
God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did
Romans 4:17
One of the greatest characters of Lord Jesus Christ is calling out things into existence from nothing. When God created the heavens and the earth, He did it by calling it out from nothing. He spoke the word “Let there be light,” and there was light. The Word of God is so powerful that it can form into existence material things from the non-existence state.
This very word which called the heavens and earth into existence from non-existence, lives among us. Yes, the bible teaches us that our Lord Jesus is the Word of God who was in the beginning with God, and who was God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
When we speak the very words written in the bible (the promises) it becomes alive and brings into existence the blessings in your life. That is why it is very important to declare and confess the scriptures. Not just meditate on it, but continue to confess it with our mouth.
The Word of God has the power to raise the dead things to life, it makes dead hope alive, it makes the sick body healed, it turns our defeat into victory. Proverbs 18:21 tells us clearly that our life and death are in the power of the tongue. The words we speak either works in favor of us if we speak the scripture or against us if we speak words of flesh.
