Heaven's Lifestyle

Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Mathew 18:4

We all know that life here on earth is temporary and shortest. There is a life after death and it is eternal. This eternal life has no boundaries. If we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, we spend this eternal life with Him in heaven. If anyone does not believe on Jesus Christ and has not accepted Him as their Savior will be condemned to darkness for eternity.
While we spend a lot of time and effort to live on this earth and call it home, we should realize that this is not our real home and that it is a temporary home or a travel home. That is why it is important that we should keep one eye on our true home, the eternal home which is in heaven. Jesus said He is preparing a mansion for each of us in that eternal home.
Eternal home in heaven also has a lifestyle like here on earth. There are some in the kingdom of heaven who will be called the greatest or will have a greater and rich lifestyle and this depends on how we live our life on earth. Yes, our life on earth and how we live matters and decides our lifestyle in heaven. If we live our life on earth as per God’s will and obey His commandments, we will be surely rewarded in the eternal lifestyle, but if we live a life on earth only working towards our own desires then our eternal lifestyle will be questionable.
In the gospel of Mathew chapter 18 and verse 4, Jesus gives us a clue as to who will be the greatest in the kingdom of heaven or in other words who will live a grand and rich lifestyle in heaven. It is those who will humble themselves as a child, that is those who has a pure heart as a child, those who forgives like a child, those who are modest like a child, who blindly believes like a child, who has a faith like a child.
What lifestyle are we seeking? Do you want to be greatest on earth, which will perish soon and lose everything for eternity or lose everything on earth to gain the greatest for eternity? This is a question we all should always ask ourselves and learn to humble like a child and submit to God and follow His ways so that we will be called greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.
