Word that can do anything

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 1:14

Christmas is the celebration of the greatest miracle the world has ever known: God becoming man.
John does not describe the birth of Jesus with shepherds, angels, or a manger; instead, he reveals the deeper meaning of Christmas—the Word became flesh.
The eternal Word, who was with God and was God, chose to step into our broken world, taking on human form.
The same Word of God which created heaven and earth came to us to dwell among us.
He “dwelt among us,” literally meaning He “tabernacled” with humanity, making His home in our midst.
If the Word of God, who created all that we see, is now with us, how much more is He able to do for us.
Jesus Himself said what is impossible for men is possible by God.
So boldly with confidence approach the Word of God who became flesh — our Lord Jesus Christ, and ask.
When you have asked, believe without doubting.
Jesus said all things are possible for those who believe (Mark 9:23).
This Christmas season, remember the Word of God, who created powerful universe, is with you.
Hence, approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that you may receive mercy and find grace to help you in your time of need (Heb 4:16).
Reflection:
How have you imagined Lord Jesus? How do you approach Him? Are you confident to ask Him?
Examine yourself to see what is causing you not to approach Him confidently?
Spending a lot of time in God's Word removes doubt and strengthens the faith and confidence in Him.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, help my unbelief. I know You are the Word of God who made the heavens and earth and can do the impossible. But my doubt prevents me from receiving miracles, deliverance, and breakthrough.
Strengthen Your faith in me and help me to ask You in great faith. Amen.
