Lord will make room

So he called its name Rehoboth, because he said, "For now the LORD has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land."

Genesis 26:22

We all know the story of Isaac digging wells. In those days, wells were the source of life. There were no public water systems—without a well, there was no water, and without water, no life.
Isaac and his servants re-dug the wells that his father Abraham had once dug, but which the Philistines had stopped up. When they re-dug the first well, the Philistines argued and claimed it as theirs. The same thing happened with the second well. But when they dug the third one, there was no quarrel. Isaac named it Rehoboth, meaning “The LORD has made room for us.”
This story reminds us that setbacks and opposition do not mean God has forgotten us. Each closed door, each disappointment, can be a step toward the open space God is preparing for us. Isaac did not give up; he kept digging until the Lord made room for him.
In the same way, when the Lord makes room for you, every obstacle and hindrance will be removed. You will have peace, fruitfulness, and success—not by human effort, but by divine favor.
So today, do not be discouraged by delays, failures, or opposition. The Lord Jesus Christ is with you wherever you go. He will open doors no one can shut and make room for you to prosper.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for being the One who makes room for me. When I face opposition or disappointment, help me to keep trusting You and never give up. Make room for me in every area of my life and cause me to be fruitful and at peace. Amen.
