Be Fruitful and multiply

Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply".

Gen 1:28

“Be fruitful and multiply”—this was a blessing and promise given by God to Adam and Eve.
In Hebrew, the word fruitful (parah) means to flourish, and multiply (ravah) means to become many.
This reflects God the Father’s original intention for humanity: that we would thrive and increase in every area of life.
However, due to Adam and Eve’s disobedience, this blessing was lost—not just for them, but for all their descendants, including us.
But through Jesus Christ, the blessing has been restored. Now, in Him, we are once again able to walk in the promise to be fruitful and multiply.
This fruitfulness goes beyond physical multiplication—it includes growth in wisdom, relationships, health, work, and every aspect of life.
As believers, we now carry this promise within us.
God, our Creator, is always with us wherever we go (Joshua 1:9).
But in order to fully experience this blessing, we must commit all our ways to the Lord (Psalm 37:5). When we do, He will cause every area of our lives to flourish and increase.
This is the same promise God gave at the beginning—and it still stands today.
Commit everything you do to the Lord, and you will be fruitful and multiply in all areas of life—health, finances, relationships, work—and walk in His peace, filled with His joy.
