Nature of the mind

For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Romans 8:6

The nature of your mind determines whether you have a blessed and victorious life and be at peace or with sorrow and pain.
Carnally minded is death. Carnally minded means fleshly minded.
Think in the flesh.
Flesh is always for itself; it wants more and more, always never satisfied. It is never loving, kind, or forgiving. Flesh never wants to obey God's commandments and does not want to do His will.
Hence, the result of carnally minded is death, which is sorrow, pain, disappointment, struggle, sickness, worry, fear, and failure.
But on the other hand, to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
The Spirit of God who dwells in us is not selfish, but rather loving, kind, caring for others, focusing on things of God and His will, following and obeying His commandments, satisfied and content with what God gives.
Hence, the result is life, which comes from God. Results in goodness, joy, peace, success, worry-free life.
We have a choice put in front of us everyday.
Practice and walk everyday spiritually minded. Only through it is all goodness and joy.
