Use it or lose it

In Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

John 16:33

When God created Adam and Eve, He gave dominion (authority and power) over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, over the cattle, and over all the earth (Gen 1:26).
When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, they lost their dominion.
Since no one was there to replace Adam by living a righteous life, the dominion (power and authority) was stolen by the devil and his kingdom.
But Christ came as the second Adam, lived a righteous life, and sacrificed Himself.
By doing this, He got back the dominion over the earth that was stolen by devil and his kingdom. (Matt 28:18)
Once He got back, He gave it to us. (Matt 28:19).
So now, when we accept Lord Jesus as Savior and walk in Him, we walk in authority and power.
So when trouble comes, which does as long as we are in this world (God did not take away trouble, He only took away dominion from this world.)
In Christ, we can use the authority and power to overcome it.
In Christ, we now have the same dominion as Adam and hence can bind and cast the trouble, challenge, and pain.
So use this authority and power that Christ has purchased for you with His precious blood.
Use it, or else you will only lose to your circumstances and pain.
Use it and don't lose it.
