The light that makes you rejoice
The light of the righteous rejoices, but the lamp of the wicked will be put out.
Proverbs 13:9
God is light and in Him there is no darkness (1 John 1:5).
In His light there is complete joy, peace, clarity, protection, and favor.
In Him there is no darkness, that is, no confusion, chaos, lack of peace, or sorrow.
This God, who is light, lives within the righteous. That is, lives within those who has accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior.
And since He lives within the righteous, the righteous rejoice.
You rejoice because God, who is light, makes you rejoice.
He takes care of you so well that inspite of all storms and confusions and hurdles around, you still walk in peace, joy, your everyday needs are met, you eat and are satisfied.
But on the other hand, the wicked, those who have rejected Christ, even though they may have plenty, they lack this peace, joy, and satisfaction.
The Light that is inside of you is no ordinary Light. It is God Himself.
And when He is in you, He is with you and for you, and all will go well.
He will make you rejoice, since He is with you and in you.
Weeping will only endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
