Walking in truth

He who walks in integrity walks securely.

Proverbs 10:9

Walking truthfully draws God's attention. He is pleased with those who are truthful in all they do.
Truthful in the words they speak, in their action, in their thoughts.
Because it imitates God's nature.
On the other hand, God hates the lying tongue.
Proverbs 6:16-19 lists seven things that God hates, and one of them is a lying tongue.
Integrity and truthfulness make God attentive to our prayers.
Sometimes we lie to give an excuse. We may be late to church or some celebration,
when asked, we say that we got stuck in traffic, but in fact we would have left late from our house.
We feel embarrassed to admit our mistakes and hence lie.
But what we don't realize is, small or a big lie, God hates it.
That is how serious it is.
Let us realize every moment to walk in truth, and when we do so,
we don't give room for the enemy to judge us, and hence we walk securely.
Make every effort to walk in truth.
