Lifestyle of the wise
If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom.
James 3:13
Godly wisdom is opposite to worldly wisdom. Godly wisdom leads to life and happiness, but worldly wisdom leads to strife and sorrow.
As believers in Christ, we are called to live in Godly wisdom.
Godly wisdom calls us to live an honorable life filled with love for others, being kind and gentle, not envying, not being greedy, not being self-focused,
and doing good works.
In fact, James 2:14-26 tells us that such good works and honorable living are a sign that we are truly saved and are true believers of Christ.
Jesus said you will know the tree by its fruit.
When the fruit is good, the tree is good also. A bad tree does not produce good fruit, and vice versa.
Are you saved? Are you a follower of Christ? Then the Holy Spirit lives in you, and you are wise. You have Godly wisdom living inside of you.
May it be shown outward. May your lifestyle reflect God's wisdom and His ways.
It is not enough to call a tree good; it should produce good fruit as well.
If we call ourselves followers of Christ, let us show it by our fruits.
May our lifestyle show we are Christ's.
