I will make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:19
Isaiah 43 is one of the greatest chapters in the bible. It reminds us that we are called and cherry picked by God. We are HIS. He owns us and has made a covenant to take care of us and do good to us.
This is the same message he conveys to people of Israel. He says in the beginning of this chapter "Fear not for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are mine.
And He goes on to say later in the chapter, "Do not remember the former things, behold I will do a new thing, I will make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Yes, beloved in Christ, God is telling you He will make a way were there seems to be no way.
Do not ponder over the past and current failure, problems, disappointments and situations in life. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus who is the author of your faith.
He will make a road for you in wilderness, which means in unexpected way. Not in the way you think.
God is not limited by our understanding.
So expect the unexpected. God is for you. He will make a road in impossible places, through impossible situations.
Because He cares for you.
